CDI - Responsable Développement Fournitures et Composants (H/F/X)

Responsibilities

• Research, source, develop, and order components for ready‑to‑wear collections, capsules, special projects, bespoke pieces, commercial and press repeats.
• Assist Design Studio from collection briefs through to handover to Production, supporting the development process to ensure successful delivery of each collection.
• Manage sourcing and purchasing of trims and components (buttons, zippers, labels, buckles, hardware, ribbons, leather accessories) in line with collection budgets.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Product Development, Production, and Suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality materials while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across Design Studio, Product Development, Supply Purchasing, Embroidery Development, Atelier, Stock, and Production teams to ensure smooth coordination and effective collaboration throughout the development cycle.
• Sources, develops, and selects components and trims and their suppliers that meet luxury quality standards.
• Collaborates with Design and Product Development teams during collection development and assures a smooth handover to production.
• Negotiates prices and delivery schedules taking priorities into account.
• Tracks purchase orders and ensures on‑time deliveries during development.
• Manages budgets and optimizes purchasing costs without compromising quality; reports regularly on budget status.
• Ensures components comply with quality, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
• Creates, maintains, and updates product information in the PLM system, including article and color codes, costing, supplier and technical data.
• Maintains accurate purchasing data in SAP.
• Provides visibility on seasonal components and trims to stakeholders and supports production planning.
• Manages supplier relationships, evaluates supplier performance, and contributes to the supplier repository.
