Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc is seeking a Process Surveillance to join our team in Kinston, NC. You will be part of a team performing surveillance of shop floor processes to ensure compliant and effective adherence to requirements.

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston manufactures crucial aircraft components on the shop floor with colleagues skilled in electrical, structure and quality. The facility specializes in the production of large, advanced composite aerostructures for the Airbus A350 XWB, including the composite center fuselage and wing spar.

Your Responsibilities
- Perform operational surveillance of people, technical processes, quality management system processes and products.
- Assess individuals’ qualification for technical processes or for authority to inspect.
- Act as a subject matter expert for line teams on technical processes and quality management system processes.
- Participate in daily SQCDP cadence and performance reviews.
- Analyze data and generate reports to convey top issues and brief results to the shop floor and leadership teams using the SQCDP review system.
- Maintain regular communication with operators and provide structured reporting to the manager on ongoing issues.
- Conduct research, benchmarking and analysis to ensure process execution conforms to requirements.
- Support root cause analyses and evaluate corrective action implementation to mitigate nonconformance issues.
- Interface with employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to assure compliance with requirements.
Your Boarding Pass
- 3–5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, quality, engineering or related role.
- Proficiency in technical writing.
- 5% domestic/international travel.
- Proficient in practical problem solving.
- Strong ability to work in a multifunction team.
- Autonomous and rigorous with a focus on product safety and personal integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to articulate complex issues to others.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters is essential.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing and quality and familiarity with associated standards.
- Competence in conducting operational surveillance or quality audits, including process and product.
- Facilitation skills, especially related to problem solving.
- MS Office and/or Google Workspace proficiency.
Citizenship
- Authorized to work in the United States.

- Onsite: 100%
- Vision: Ability to read computer screens, documents, reports and engineering drawings.
- Hearing: Ability to participate in conversations in person or via teleconference; hear safety warnings or alarms on the production floor.
- Speaking: Ability to participate in conversations and meetings.
- Equipment Operation: Proficiency with office equipment and basic production tools.
- Carrying/Lifting: Ability to carry or lift up to 30 lbs / 14 kg.
- Pushing/Pulling: Ability to push and pull small office furniture and equipment.
- Sitting/Standing: Ability to sit and stand as needed for long periods.
- Travel: Up to 5% travel.
- Walking: Ability to walk extensively through office and production areas, including uneven surfaces.
- Personal Protective Equipment: PPE includes safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators/masks, bump caps and/or gloves as required by site.
