Process and Method Engineer

YOUR ROLE

Capgemini Engineering Belgium is looking for Process Engineers to support one of our clients in Luxembourg, specialized in automotive glass and roofing systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative technologies for premium OEMs. You will play a critical role in industrializing new processes, stabilizing production lines, and driving continuous improvement in a high‑tech environment.

As a Process Engineer, you will

• Manage and optimize production processes for automotive glass and sunroof systems, including cutting, grinding, printing, bending, laminating, pressing, and finishing.
• Industrialize new technologies and ensure smooth integration into existing production lines.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance cycle time, quality, and availability.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams.
• Define KPIs and roadmaps for process stabilization and optimization.
• Participate in Lean and continuous improvement programs to drive operational excellence.
• Support finishing operations, including sealants, connectors, and studs’ adaptation.
• Provide hands‑on technical support during implementation and troubleshooting phases.
• Ensure compliance with clean‑room automation standards for lamination and printing processes.

YOUR PROFILE

• Education: Engineering/master’s degree in mechanical, electro‑mechanical, industrial or process engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in process engineering or industrialization; automotive experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of glass processing technologies (printing, bending, lamination) is highly valued.
• Technical skills: strong understanding of production processes and automation systems; ability to analyze KPIs and implement improvement action.
• Soft skills: autonomous, proactive, solution‑oriented mindset; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Languages: Fluency in English; French or German is an advantage.
