Pre‑Sales Role

The Pre‑Sales team strengthens Alan’s Enterprise and Public sector Sales to better handle the specificities of our largest customers.

Responsibilities

  • Master our platform and support Sales by enabling them with insights, expertise and the relevant tools.
  • Listen and understand prospects’ needs and work internally on how Alan can address them best.
  • Build a thorough understanding of the prospect and assess the level of functional alignment with our offering and capabilities.
  • Participate in RFP submissions and build Alan’s response in collaboration with Sales, Insurance and Product experts.
  • Join the customer acquisition journey to evangelise our services and products.
  • Act as voice of the customer feeding Alan’s platform roadmap.
  • Prepare handover for delightful customers’ onboardings.
  • Coordinate the most complex customer onboardings, leveraging your unique knowledge of the customer’s requirements and specificities.

You will actively participate in developing this growing function within Alan and help shape the company to make our Sales teams the most successful of all!

Ideal Candidate

  • At least 5+ years of experience working in a SaaS environment.
  • Highly experienced in end‑to‑end procurement projects (buyer or supplier side) with involvement in RFIs, RFQs and RFPs.
  • Talent for quickly getting to the root cause of customers’ concerns through active listening and requirements elicitation.
  • Assertive and able to handle objections in a complex environment.
  • Master the art of pitching a product with transparency and without overselling its capabilities.
  • Ability to break down complex issues and identify product gaps to define the best product solutions.
  • Thriving at high‑level stakeholder management.
  • Excellent at prioritising tasks while living up to commitments.
  • Loves teamwork and is always eager to learn and grow.
  • Fluent in both French and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the French Public Sector.
  • Experience in HRIS ecosystems and Payroll solutions.
  • Experience in Insurance or Health platforms.
