Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced engineer, ideally with a background in railway technology, to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing technical requirements from tenders, designing compliant solutions, and developing innovative components for conductor rail applications. You will work closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure successful integration and implementation of new components.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate technical requirements from tenders and specifications.
- Develop designs that meet all technical and regulatory requirements.
- Design and develop new components and solutions for conductor rail systems.
- Integrate components into the existing ERP system.
- Manage prototype development and series production launches in collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Participate in technical meetings with customers and suppliers in an international environment.
- Support the Quality Department in handling customer and supplier complaints.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Transportation, or Railway Engineering).
- Strong technical understanding, including analytical and mathematical skills, knowledge of physical principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD), MS Office Suite, ERP systems.
- Practical experience in product development, simulation, laboratory testing, and project management.
- Ideally, experience in the railway industry (rolling stock, infrastructure).
