Postdoctoral position in neuro-vascular biology
Postdoctoral position – Blood–Nerve Barrier in health and disease
Brunet Lab, CIRB – Collège de France, Paris
The Brunet Laboratory
at the
Centre Interdisciplinaire de Recherche en Biologie (CIRB), Collège de France
, invites applications for a
Postdoctoral Researcher
position to study the
Blood–Nerve Barrier (BNB)
in both
homeostatic and pathological conditions
.
Project
The project aims to investigate the
molecular and cellular mechanisms governing the BNB
, and how its dysfunction contributes to
neuropathies
. The successful candidate will employ advanced imaging, molecular, and genetic approaches to dissect neurovascular interactions within the peripheral nervous system.
Profile
- PhD in
Neuroscience, Vascular Biology, or Pain&Physiology
(or closely related field) - Demonstrated expertise in
confocal or multiphoton microscopy
,
molecular biology
, and/or
mouse models is expected - Experience with blood–brain barrier
or neurovascular systems is highly desirable - Strong scientific curiosity, independence, and rigor
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Environment
The Brunet Lab offers a
stimulating and collaborative environment
, within the
Collège de France
in the heart of
Paris
, equipped with
state-of-the-art imaging and molecular biology facilities
and strong interdisciplinary collaborations (imaging, transcriptomics, computational modeling).
