I'm currently looking for a Planning Engineer to join an exciting project based in Charenton-le-Pont. Requirements

• 10 years of Experience in large industrial EPC Projects
• Good knowledge of Primavera P6 (mandatory)
• Good knowledge of Engineering development (P&ID reading, 3D Model needed inputs, E&I cycles, etc…)
• Past Experience in chemical / Oil&Gas / Energy industry is expected
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of Google sheet is a plus
• Soft skills: proactivity, very good communication, curiosity

Responsibilities

• Ability to prepare the baseline of a project schedule and progress measurement sheets: Use the Work Breakdown Structure of the Group;
• Ensure that all the activities including those from the customer and other stakeholders are presented;
• Coordinate with Disciplines to ensure proper dates, duration, links and weight;
• Analyze the critical path (or close to be critical paths) and work with PM to improve and mitigate schedule risk;
• Coordinate with project team and discipline team;
• Work in close relation with Project Engineers; Participate to projects reviews and coordination meetings of the project;
• On a monthly basis, update the schedule and progress measurement sheets as per actual progress and realistic forecast;
• Do the progress analysis (late tasks and coming weeks/look-ahead tasks);
• Propose corrective measures to improve the situation;
• Assist in the planning of project execution and in the control of the project to meet the requirements in terms of time deadlines, and progress.
• Support Project Manager in the Project Execution Strategy decisions; Structure all activities from start of work to the end of project;
• Provide transparency regarding time deadlines and progress.
