Reporting to the Director of Strategic Marketing Europe, the digital marketing director will orchestrate the development and implementation of a robust forward-thinking digital strategy that supercharges our digital performance while ensuring a seamless, customer-first omnichannel experience. This strategic role demands a high-impact leader who combines digital expertise, business acumen, and creative innovation to elevate Sephora's position as the beauty authority.

You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions :

  • Lead the development and implementation of a disruptive, insight-driven digital marketing plans across EU markets to boost digital.
  • Translate global and regional brand vision into impactful local digital actions that drive customer acquisition, retention, and advocacy. Ensuring alignment with business priorities and local market needs. Act as co-owner of the traffic and qualitative online kpis with the ecommerce team focusing on impacting activations.
  • Champion a data-driven approach to digital performance and innovation across touchpoints.
  • Ensure consistency and coherence across the omnichannel customer journey — from online discovery to in-store experience.

Strategic Initiatives for Long-Term Growth

  • Build and lead a Publisher Strategy to drive relevant traffic and expand reach through strategic media, influencers, pr and content partnerships.
  • Define and execute a Curation Strategy , leveraging trends, data, and consumer insights to elevate our offers and storytelling. Starting in digital and elevating the omni customer experience.
  • Innovate within the Digital Services space — integrating tools, consultations, and virtual experiences that drive differentiation and value.
  • Impulse and incubate new opportunities to mark Sephora’s differentiation , acting as the marketing main point of contact for these white spaces (ie retail media, gift card acceleration, education)

Build Digital Marketing yearly plan, plans and briefs for Europe

  • Hand-in-hand with the Ecommerce, with European CMO and with Mktg central codir, co-build then animate the European Digital Marketing strategy 3 year plan, the pre-budget and budget plans.
  • Then consolidate pre-budget and budget and build the European Digital Marketing annual plan
  • Build the macro brief for digital activations in a very collaborative, creative but rational mindset based on offer & marketing strategies, European local needs and specificities and marketing KPI’s analysis.
  • Closely follow up on the different assets creation ensuring impactful 360 digital plan.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with country teams, offer teams, and various marketing expertises (media, CRM, trade, digital, Some, PR) to secure seamless execution with always a mindset of performance tracking and analysis of the impact.

  • Proven experience (15+ years) in strategic digital, project management, or marketing coordination, ideally within the beauty, retail, or FMCG industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to think strategically and translate long-term vision into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills; comfortable managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify processes and information for clarity and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills in an international, cross-functional environment.
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required
