Your Role

The Partner Account Manager sustains productive relationships with strategic partners who resell Sovos Compliance software or provide referrals, delivering incremental new business. This role focuses on advanced partners in the North American region, driving partner‑driven sales through a comprehensive go‑to‑market plan.

More Specifically, You Will

  • Consistently generate new revenues and meet agreed booking quotas by selling with and through strategic partners.
  • Focus on partner relationship management and support rather than direct selling.
  • Develop and execute a detailed territory plan to maximize partner‑driven sales opportunities.
  • Grow and manage a quality pipeline of new strategic partners.
  • Nurture and improve working relationships with existing assigned partners.
  • Use primary and secondary market research data to build and refine market expansion strategies.
  • Actively engage partners to increase awareness of Sovos’s global tax compliance and business‑to‑government reporting solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with partners’ direct and indirect sales channels to identify new market and client opportunities.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with strategic partners to drive consistent productivity against agreed KPIs.
  • Act with the highest integrity and exhibit ethical conduct in all stakeholder interactions.
  • Model the way for other Global Alliance Sales team members by demonstrating initiative, drive, and determination to achieve results.
  • Manage strategic tier‑2 partners or routes to market, including GSIs where relationships are established and tactical execution is the focus.

What We Need From You

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, channel sales, channel marketing, or business development.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions is preferred.
  • Successful track record of selling to large enterprises, managing complex sales cycles, and interacting with senior executives.
  • Strong listening and communication skills over the phone and in person.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Self‑motivated team player with a strong drive to exceed goals.
