Your Role

The Partner Account Manager is responsible for sustaining productive business relationships with strategic partners who either resell Sovos Compliance software or provide referrals that deliver incremental new business. This position focuses on areas where existing NA teams are already mapped and handles more complex partners and routes, executing a comprehensive partner‑driven sales and go‑to‑market plan.

More Specifically, You Will

  • Consistently deliver new revenues and meet agreed booking quotas by selling with and through strategic partners.
  • Focus less on selling and more on partner relationship management and support.
  • Develop and execute a detailed territory plan to maximise partner‑driven sales opportunities.
  • Grow and manage a quality pipeline of new strategic partners.
  • Maintain and improve working relationships with existing/assigned partners and drive business contributions.
  • Use primary and secondary market research to build and refine strategies for expanding market reach and accelerating market penetration through alliances.
  • Actively engage with existing and new partners to enhance awareness about Sovos’ global Tax Compliance and Business‑to‑Government Reporting solutions.
  • Build strong relationships and robust cadence with partners’ direct and indirect sales channels to identify new market/client opportunities.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with strategic partners to drive consistent productivity against agreed KPIs.
  • Act with the highest integrity and exhibit ethical conduct in all interactions with essential stakeholders.
  • Model the way for all other Global Alliance Sales team members by demonstrating unmatched initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success and growth.
  • Manage more strategic tier‑2 partners or routes to market.
  • May include handling GSIs where the relationship is established and tactical execution is the focus.

What We Need From You

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, channel sales, channel marketing or business development.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions preferred.
  • Successful track record of selling to large enterprises, managing complex sales cycles and interacting with senior executives.
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively over the phone and in person.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated team player with a strong drive to exceed goals.
