Nursing Informatics Specialist (AI Training)

We're looking for Nursing Informatics Specialists to help evaluate and improve AI systems being built for healthcare. You'll bring the frontline nursing perspective that AI researchers simply don't have, helping ensure that clinical tools, documentation systems, and health IT reflect how care actually works.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working with Alignerr — a company that partners with the world's leading AI research labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated clinical content, documentation, and health IT outputs for accuracy, safety, and real-world usability
• Apply your knowledge of nursing workflows and EHR systems (such as Epic or Cerner) to assess whether AI responses reflect clinical reality
• Identify gaps, errors, or unsafe recommendations in AI-generated healthcare content
• Translate clinical nuance into structured, actionable feedback for AI training teams
• Review and annotate data related to clinical documentation, patient care workflows, and informatics systems
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with hands‑on nursing experience
• Familiar with clinical informatics, health IT systems, or electronic health records
• Experience working with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or similar
• Strong ability to evaluate clinical accuracy and identify workflow gaps
• Detail‑oriented with clear written communication skills
• Comfortable working independently on structured, task‑based assignments
• No prior AI experience required — your clinical expertise is what matters

Nice to Have

• Experience in nursing informatics, clinical systems analysis, or health IT implementation
• Background in data annotation, quality review, or clinical documentation improvement
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts in healthcare
• Experience evaluating or improving clinical decision support tools
