This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for Masters and PhD-level scientists who want to put their expertise to work at the frontier of AI development. No prior AI experience needed — your domain knowledge is what matters.

What You'll Do

• Design, solve, and review advanced atmospheric science problems with real-world scientific relevance
• Apply your expertise in climate modeling, meteorology, ecology, or sustainability to craft complex, nuanced problem sets
• Evaluate AI-generated scientific reasoning for accuracy, depth, and rigor
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve model performance
• Ensure scientific clarity, methodological soundness, and appropriate complexity across all deliverables
• Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Masters or PhD in Atmospheric Science, Climate Science, Environmental Science, or a closely related field
• Strong expertise in climate modeling, atmospheric dynamics, ecology, or sustainability
• Proficient in Python or R for scientific research or data analysis
• Exceptional written communication skills with a sharp eye for scientific accuracy and detail
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in science communication or technical writing
• Familiarity with AI tools or large language model outputs as an end user
• Experience reviewing or peer‑reviewing scientific work
