Neurologist | Remote
Overview
Collaborate with AI developers to train and evaluate machine learning models for neurological diagnostics and treatment recommendations. Annotate, review, and interpret clinical data including patient histories, physical exams, and diagnostic test results. Provide subject matter expertise on disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Analyze outcomes of neurological procedures and diagnostic tests such as lumbar punctures, EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies. Communicate clinical findings and feedback clearly to interdisciplinary teams. Identify clinical nuances and potential pitfalls to enhance AI safety and robustness. Stay current with advancements in neurology and integrate emerging insights into AI model development.
Requirements
- MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Neurology (adult or pediatric)
- Strong clinical experience diagnosing and managing neurological disorders
- Expertise in interpreting neurological examinations and advanced diagnostic testing
- Experience with clinical data annotation and medical data analysis
- Familiarity with machine learning model evaluation and digital health technologies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams
