Global Patient Affairs Director – Neurology

Your Role

As the Global Patient Affairs Director – Neurology, you will be instrumental in developing and executing our patient engagement strategy. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining priorities for patient projects within neurology in collaboration with R&D, Medical, and Marketing teams.
  • Designing and implementing the Patient Engagement strategy throughout the drug life cycle, from R&D to post‑launch, aligning with the Group's Patient Affairs strategy and Neurology priorities.
  • Mapping global contacts within the international patient community for Rare Disease and Rare Neurology.
  • Building and strengthening relationships with patient organizations and experts, representing the Servier Group.
  • Coordinating the involvement of patient organizations in priority activities across relevant departments (R&D, Medical, Market Access, Marketing, Public Affairs) and managing all legal, ethical, and compliance aspects.
  • Working closely with regional and country teams to prepare Global Patient Affairs plans.
  • Reporting interactions with patient organizations and ensuring their declarations to competent authorities, in coordination with Compliance departments.
  • Monitoring important events or developments in Patient Affairs that could impact the Group's reputation or Patient Engagement strategy.
  • Supporting relevant teams in Patient Experience Data generation activities.
  • Collaborating with local and regional patient advocacy organizations and fostering collaboration around clinical trials and study recruitment.
  • Contributing to the development and dissemination of the Global Patient Affairs Strategy.
  • Acting as an active member of the Servier Patient Advocacy & Relations Community.
  • Working cross‑functionally within relevant Asset teams.
  • Contributing to the Global Patient Affairs Leadership Team to drive Global Patient Affairs and champion Patient Engagement as a strategic priority.

Budget Responsibility

Managing the budget for Neurology Patient Affairs activities.

Reporting Relationship

Reporting directly to the Chief Patient Officer.

What We’re Looking For

  • Advanced degree in life science (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD).
  • Over 7 years of leadership experience in a Global Patient Affairs organization.
  • Proven experience in Rare Disease / Rare Neurology patient affairs.
  • Relevant experience in R&D Patient Engagement.
  • Expertise in Patient Experience Data, Patient Preference Studies, Health Economics & Outcomes Research, and Real World Data / Evidence.
  • International experience with an understanding of different cultures and ways of working.
  • Collaborative mindset with strategic thinking ability.
  • Success in a complex, global, matrix organization.
  • Highly developed consultative skills.
  • Results‑driven with a customer service orientation.
  • Clear understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements impacting Patient Affairs organizations.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Fluent in English.

Location

Servier Global HQ and/or Servier Saclay R&D Campus.
