Project Overview

We are looking for a reliable on-site IT engineer to support a one-off equipment installation project at a client site in Gensac .

The engineer will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, assembling, rack mounting, and cabling Fortinet equipment. The work must be completed professionally, with clear photo evidence and confirmation provided after installation.

Equipment to Be Installed

On-Site Activities

The engineer will be required to complete the following tasks:

• Receive equipment at the site
• Assemble hardware as required
• Rack mount the devices
• Connect:
• Power cables
• WAN and LAN links
• Copper or fiber network connections, depending on site requirements
• Power on the devices

Completion Evidence Required

Upon completion, the engineer must provide:

• Photos of the rack installation
• Photos of power connections
• Photos of WAN/LAN network connections
• Confirmation that the devices have powered on successfully
• Any relevant notes or issues encountered on site

Requirements

The ideal engineer should have experience with:

• On-site IT field support
• Network hardware installation
• Basic copper and fiber cabling
• Firewall/router/switch installation
• Following remote instructions from a project coordinator or network team
• Providing clear photo evidence and completion updates

Fortinet experience is preferred but not essential, provided the engineer is confident with rack mounting, cabling, and network equipment installation.

Additional Support

After the project is completed, occasional support may be required for the installed equipment. Any post-project support will be handled separately on a ticket basis and paid accordingly.
