Position Summary

The National Sales Director – France is responsible for TheraPanacea’s commercial growth, strategic partnerships, and brand presence across France, with a dual focus on:

1. Accelerating new customer acquisition among strategic accounts, and

2. Growing and retaining the existing installed base.

This senior, customer‑facing role combines complex enterprise sales, key account management, long‑term partnership development, and market expansion. The position serves as the primary commercial interface for hospital groups, cancer centers, academic institutions, and healthcare networks in France.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the national sales strategy for France in alignment with TheraPanacea’s global objectives
  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing customers (installed base) to maximize value through renewals, contract expansions, upsell/cross‑sell opportunities, and deeper solution adoption
  • Manage the full sales cycle for new strategic accounts, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure
  • Build, maintain, and accurately forecast a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned revenue and growth targets

Customer Relationships & Strategic Partnerships

  • Build and maintain trusted, long‑term relationships with hospital leadership, department heads, physicians, medical physicists, clinical and operational teams
  • Position TheraPanacea as a strategic partner in optimizing radiation oncology workflows and patient care
  • In collaboration with the Clinical Success team, ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the lifecycle: deployment, adoption, ongoing use, and renewal
  • Identify opportunities for clinical, scientific, or reference collaborations with key customers

Market Development & Brand Presence

  • Monitor and analyze the French market landscape, including customer needs, competitive dynamics, and industry trends
  • Contribute to defining TheraPanacea’s commercial positioning and value messaging for the French market
  • Represent TheraPanacea at national and international oncology, radiation therapy, and healthcare conferences and events

Internal Collaboration & Strategic Contribution

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, clinical, implementation, and support teams to align solutions with customer needs
  • Provide structured field feedback to inform product roadmap decisions and strategic priorities
  • Contribute to broader company discussions on commercial strategy, partnerships, and go‑to‑market initiatives
  • Advise and assist in the evaluation and creation of distributor and partnership agreements as appropriate

Team Development & Future Growth

  • Support the identification of future commercial hiring needs and, as the organization grows, contribute to building and mentoring a France‑based sales team
  • Act as a market and customer expert to senior leadership
  • Contribute to broader company strategy, development policies, and go‑to‑market planning

Required Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of successful experience in enterprise sales or business development within medical devices, healthcare software/SaaS, AI, digital health, or life sciences
  • Proven track record selling into cancer centers, radiation oncology departments, hospital networks, or academic medical centers with an working knowledge of radiation oncology workflows and clinician decision‑making dynamics
  • Expertise in key account management, customer retention, and expansion within existing accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles
  • Executive‑level presence with the ability to engage credibly with senior clinical, operational, and administrative leaders
  • Highly organized, autonomous, results‑driven, and comfortable operating in a senior “hands‑on” role

Ideal candidate would have proven sales leadership experience within France, including leading regional sales managers.

Education

  • Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Sciences or equivalent professional experience

Languages

  • English: Fluent (international collaboration and reporting)

Additional Information

  • Regular travel within France; occasional European and Global travel
