Murex Financial Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst with experience in Murex to join the Client Services Delivery Pool, supporting European clients across both project and production environments. You will play a key role in delivering operations and finance solutions within implementations, system upgrades, and Business‑As‑Usual (BAU) support activities. This position combines operational ownership, client interaction, testing responsibilities, and stream coordination within an Agile delivery framework.

Your role

• Contribute to the technical and functional design and build of Murex solutions in Agile mode.
• Participate in customer workshops, show sessions, and solution demonstrations.
• Analyse project cases and perform defect analysis and follow‑up.
• Write and execute test scenarios during test campaigns, support validation phases (SIT and UAT).
• Participate in client support activities under the supervision of the support coordinator.
• Manage and follow up on incidents, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Act as first‑level escalation or quality control for issues within the stream.
• Ensure full understanding of the client’s functional and technical scope to resolve issues effectively.
• Analyse and reconcile source and target data.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies across systems.
• Work autonomously on project activities with limited supervision.

Your profile

• 1‑2 years of Murex experience
• Trade Life Cycle knowledge
• Accounting experience
• Intermediate knowledge of FX / FXD, Money Markets, Fixed Income, Securities Finance
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Good understanding of XML and Unix
• Basic scripting exposure (Perl, awk) is a plus
• Background requirement: Finance or Engineering
• Fluent in English and French
