Role Overview

SiemensHealthineers is seeking an experienced Manager, Travel & Fleet Procurement to manage and continuously improve the company’s vehicle fleet, fleet electrification initiatives, and corporate travel programs in the USA. This role sits within SiemensHealthineers Strategic Procurement organization and supports sustainability, cost optimization, safety, compliance, and employee experience objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in travel and fleet management, procurement, and supply chain management. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure the efficient and cost‑effective acquisition, maintenance, and management of our vehicle fleet and travel programs.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Program Management

  • Fleet Strategy and Vision: Develop and implement strategies to maintain an optimal, eco‑friendly fleet that aligns with the company’s goals.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide forward‑thinking solutions to enhance fleet operations.
  • Digitalization: Utilize digital tools to streamline operational servicing and processes.
  • Policy and Compliance: Define and enforce fleet policies in collaboration with HR to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Cost Management: Explore and implement ways to reduce fleet costs while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
  • Supplier Management/Relationships: Identify, develop, and negotiate with suppliers to support strategic business objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Plan, organize, and analyze data to build recommendations on sourcing strategies and fleet enhancements.
  • Collaboration: Interface with various roles within the company, including HR, managers, controllers, EHS, and Fleet Committee to ensure the fleet meets business needs.
  • Performance Oversight: Conduct regular fleet reviews to assess key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet and make necessary adjustments.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to fleet managers, fostering collaboration and best practice sharing across the team and across businesses.

Corporate Travel Program Management

  • Provide strategic and operational support of corporate travel programs in alignment with global strategies.
  • Serve as liaison onto preferred travel suppliers and internal stakeholders: HR, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk Management etc.
  • Work closely with HR governance on travel policy topics and initiatives.
  • Support travel technologies, including Concur and GDS platforms.
  • Oversight of travel agency operations, including travel technology tools and innovations.
  • Implement a seamless, personalized, “door‑to‑door” travel program to meet individual needs of travelers.
  • Leverage new industry trends and technologies to enhance the traveler experience.
  • Provide value to stakeholders and management via improved services with reduced costs.

Procurement & Commodity Management

  • Manage procurement categories including vehicles, leasing, TMCs, airlines, hotels, and ground transport.
  • Experience in creating and conducting RFQs, developing sourcing strategies, and performing market analytics.
  • Lead sourcing events, negotiations, and contract implementations.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support cost optimization and automation initiatives.
  • Coordinate with other regions and global Procurement leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or related field.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in procurement, fleet, travel, or mobility services.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including senior leadership within Siemens Healthineers businesses.
  • Strong background in travel agency operations, technical expertise in Global Distribution Systems (GDS), online booking tools, and travel technology.
  • Experience with travel or fleet management technologies and digital tools.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing travel and fleet needs and requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with fleet electrification or sustainability initiatives.
  • Relevant certifications such as CPSM or PMP.
  • Experience supporting large global programs.

Base Pay Range

$128,490 - $176,671
