Mission-Critical Radio Engineer & Electronics Tech II

The NC State Highway Patrol is seeking an Electronics Technician II to maintain, program, troubleshoot, and repair complex telecommunications systems and equipment supporting statewide law enforcement communications and public safety operations.

Qualified applicants must possess an Associate’s degree in electronics or equivalent, and may need FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License within one year of employment. Work includes base stations, mobile units, radar timing, and MDC integration.
