About the role

Leidos is looking for a skilled Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Chinook Program, which supports a customer in the Intelligence Community. In this position, you will create and implement software solutions that are essential for national security efforts, collaborating with a team of experienced engineers, architects, and mission specialists.

What you'll do

• Design and develop software applications that meet the needs of national security operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Ensure software performance, quality, and responsiveness through testing and debugging.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience with back-end technologies like Node.js or Spring Boot.
• Understanding of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Skills & tools

• Full stack development experience, including both client-side and server-side technologies.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
