We are looking for a Field Sales Executive in Monterrey to generate new leads, convert leads to customers, meet sales goals, build strong customer relationships, understand customer needs, and communicate them to the operations team so that together we can provide excellent and agile service.

Main Responsibilities

  • To reach and exceed the sales target assigned (volume and revenue)
  • Identify and develop leads and new customers in Mexico.
  • Manage the sales process with potential and existing customers to maximize short‑ and long‑term results.
  • Build, maintain and manage relationships with customers in the assigned portfolio.
  • Handle the sales process with customers by performing needs analysis, designing solutions, and negotiating deals.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for cross‑sell and up‑sell to existing customers.
  • Maintain direct contact (face‑to‑face) with customers on an ongoing basis according to visit plan.
  • Identify potential customer issues and solve them in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Closely liaise with inside sales and customer service to guarantee high controlled and followed‑up service quality to customers
  • Assists A/R department in dealing with credit management issues
  • Deliver all sales presentations to customers.
  • Qualify customers' sales potential and plan activities to increase share of wallet.
  • Build account plans for customers including Account's short‑ and medium‑term forecast, growth potential, needs assessment, proposed steps for growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years proven successful industry experience in Container Shipping Sales
  • In‑depth market knowledge
  • Customer‑centric approach with established customer contacts
  • Assertiveness skills
  • Strong teamwork spirit, excellent team player.
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Fully proficient MS Office Excel / Word / PowerPoint

Sales work alongside Customer Service and Business Development to create a holistic customer experience.
