1. Job Positioning

Responsible for the full-category direct sourcing and merchandising work in the French market, integrating local French supply chain resources such as brands, factories, and traders, focusing on France's advantageous categories (especially beauty and luxury goods), promoting direct supply of goods to JD International, exporting to the Chinese market to serve Chinese consumers, and achieving merchandising and GMV growth targets.

2. Core Job Responsibilities

  • Market Insight and Strategy: Deeply cultivate the French consumer market and industrial belts (such as the Paris beauty industrial belt and the Bordeaux winery industrial belt), analyze the trends of France's advantageous categories, competitor dynamics, and Chinese high-end users' demand for French products, and formulate local direct sourcing and merchandising plans for France.
  • Supplier Development: Focus on developing French luxury/beauty brand headquarters, wineries, local traders, and suppliers in Paris' beauty/apparel industrial belts, complete merchandising negotiations through local exhibitions, brand forums and other channels, and promote exclusive/priority cooperation with leading luxury and beauty brands.
  • Product Selection and Implementation: Focus on France's core advantageous categories, select compliant best-selling products that meet the needs of Chinese high‑end users, promote the implementation, listing and marketing promotion of direct sourcing, control product quality and delivery time, and coordinate with the Chinese team to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain.
  • Supplier Management: Establish a hierarchical system for French suppliers, provide operational support and training, review operational data, optimize cooperation models, handle compliance and sudden risks, and maintain a healthy supplier ecosystem.
  • Cross‑Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate with JD International's Chinese team, synchronize French market information, link up with major promotion activities, and complete core KPIs.

3. Job Requirements

  • Language: Fluent in English and proficient in French (required, able to independently complete business negotiations and brand authorization negotiations).
  • Professionalism: Understand French brand tone and Chinese high‑end consumer demand, have experience in luxury compliance and authorization negotiations, and understand the promotion logic of French beauty and luxury goods in the Chinese market.

Others: Priority will be given to candidates with local French luxury and beauty merchandising experience, or experience in cooperating with French brands.
