Job Description Summary

JOB PURPOSE:Based on the activities assigned by his/her hierarchy, the reconditioning mechanic repairs and renovates components (hydraulics, engines, etc.) in the workshop.

Significant Activities

• Carry out repairs (disassembly and reassembly, overhauls, etc.) on components (hydraulics, motors, etc.) based on technical documentation, under the supervision of your line manager
• Perform component diagnostics
• Identify and order the parts needed for the work
• Provide technical advice to workshop participants
• Understand and use technical documentation (manuals, exploded drawings, etc.)
• Fill in the various documents and business tools relating to operations and ensure the accuracy of the information entered (work reports, hours worked, logbooks, etc.)
• Report daily on activities to line management (alerts, tasks carried out, etc.)

Responsibilities and Scope for Action

• Guarantee the quality and deadlines of workshop work, under the supervision of his or her superiors
• Adheres to standard times
• Ensure that workstations and tools are properly maintained
• Know and strictly apply health and safety rules (personal protective equipment, procedures, etc.)
• Know and strictly apply environmental rules (sorting, anti-contamination, etc.)
• Know and apply internal and external compliance procedures and rules

Professional Knowledge

• Diplomas and/or experience(s): Vocational baccalaureate to Bac +2 in maintenance, mechanics or electrical engineering or significant experience preferred
• Specific knowledge(s): Technical skill(s) – Knowledge professional in the field technical (mechanical, electrical engineering, hydraulics, etc.) – Professional knowledge of products (ranges, functions, etc.) – General knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations – Basic knowledge of IT tools and information systems
