Overview

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Maintenance Training Development Instructor - Avionics (f/m) to join Airbus’ Training Center within the Airbus Customer Services Department based in Toulouse, France. As Maintenance Training Development Instructor, you will contribute to Airbus Maintenance Training by designing, specifying and leading the development of training solutions that meet the Airbus Maintenance Training strategy, business needs, and regulatory requirements, while complying with the Airbus Maintenance Training Organization Exposition (MTOE) procedures.

You will be accountable for On Time (OT), On Cost (OC), On Quality (OQ) completion of activities and the delivery of outputs described below.

Responsibilities

  • Development, production and content analysis (minimum 70% of your mission):
    • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to justify content and duration of maintenance training courses.
    • Analyze the impact of Airworthiness Directives (AD), Design Modifications (MOD), customer and instructor feedback, safety issues, and In-Service issues on maintenance training courses, materials and means.
    • Identify customer needs, opportunities and trends to propose innovative maintenance training products and services.
    • Participate in creating theoretical (syllabus/router) and practical elements (practical training record) in consideration of Airbus Maintenance Training Reference and regulatory framework.
    • Maintain instructor qualifications via required continued training.
    • Assess training means and teaching methods to cover objectives and produce maintenance training specifications for development materials and means.
    • Validate training material and means to ensure compliance with specifications and support course approvals and/or qualifications.
  • Delivery of training courses (maximum 30% of your mission):
    • Delivering and teaching the courses.

Boarding pass

  • At least 5 years' experience on aircraft maintenance (Part 145 environment). Mandatory.
  • EASA Part 66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) with at least one Airbus aircraft type endorsed. Mandatory.
  • Language skills: English at Negotiation Level. CEFR C1 or equivalent. Mandatory.
  • Technical knowledge/experience in Airbus aircraft types (Airframe and/or Power Plant ATA chapters).
  • Ability to work autonomously and excellent communication skills.

Desirable qualifications

  • EASA Part 66 B2 AML with A319/A320/A321 type endorsed (any engine).
  • EASA Form 4 or equivalent for EASA Part 147 MTO List of Instructors; experience as an instructor.

This role may involve travel for business worldwide. You must be able to travel accordingly.
