We are partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed B2B software company seeking an M&A Country Manager to lead acquisitions in France.

Backed by one of Europe’s most respected and active mid-market private equity investors, our client is executing a buy-and-build strategy with a strong track record in the software sector.

The Role:

This position will be based in France and focused on sourcing and executing acquisitions of France-based software companies with recurring revenues between €2M–€20M. You will take full ownership of the M&A lifecycle, from origination through to deal execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end M&A process: origination, evaluation, execution, and integration
• Conduct financial due diligence, build financial models, and support negotiations
• Drive the acquisition of 3–5 businesses annually
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and external advisors

Candidate Profile:

• 5–8 years of M&A experience (investment banking, corporate development, or transaction services)
• Strong expertise in FDD, financial modelling, and valuations
• Proven ability to source and close deals independently
• Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills
• Fluent in French and proficient in English
• Strong academic background
