PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

MG Motor is seeking an experienced Logistics and warehouse manager for the management of its entire range of automotive spare parts and accessories.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of spare parts and accessories to the MG dealers’ network (150 dealers in France). Your objectives are to optimize costs, service and inventory while maximizing availability and reliability.

KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Logistics management:

• Develop and implement plans for efficient and timely parts logistics operations, including forecasting, demand planning and inventory management.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline logistics operations, reduce lead times, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
• Participate in the set-up of the France warehouse with related suppliers.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely parts delivery.
• Negotiate contracts, drive cost reduction initiative and onboard new suppliers.
• Implement regular evaluations to monitor suppliers’ performance and carry out audits on suppliers' facilities and processes to ensure the efficiency of service provided.

3. Data analysis and KPIs monitoring :

• Using advanced data analysis tools to monitor logistics operations efficiency, supplier performance and inventory efficiency. Present findings and recommendations to management.
• Set up and follow KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

1. Around 5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management.

2. Experience with ERP and systems (Order Management, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management).

3. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

4. Fluency in both French and English.

5. Driving license is required.

LOCATION/TRAVEL REQUIREMENT

• Frequent business trips to the warehouse will be required (3h by car from Paris)
