Chief of Staff Ops Intern – Fleet Team (Paris)

Your mission will be to help build a solid operational backbone by improving inventory management, vehicle deployment, and internal processes, all within a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.

Working closely with David, Head of Fleet Operations, you will collaborate with the Supervision team and Regional Managers to monitor real‑time fleet operations across 21 European cities.

Main Responsibilities

• Deploy a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track and manage spare parts inventory in real time. Lead the roll‑out, ensure alignment with operational needs, and integrate it into daily workflows.
• Set up an automated spare parts ordering system using WMS data and usage patterns to optimise procurement, reduce manual handling, and avoid shortages.
• Analyse and optimise vehicle deployment and routing strategy by creating a structured analytical framework, setting clear measurable KPIs, and supporting data‑driven decisions.
• Support the Supervision team by formalising and automating key recurring processes.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc analyses and key operational projects across the team, driving strategic initiatives with actionable insights.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Currently enrolled in engineering or business school with a strong analytical background, seeking a gap year or end‑of‑studies internship.
• Data‑driven mindset: comfortable working with quantitative data to identify trends and solve real‑world problems.
• Interest in operations: motivated by operational challenges and curious about how things work on the ground.
• Project management: able to take ownership of a topic, structure your approach, and move things forward proactively.
• People skills: communicate clearly and work well with cross‑functional teams, from field staff to management.
• Languages: Fluent in French and English.
