Linux and Solaris Systems Administrator
• Ensure the operational maintenance and security maintenance of the client’s systems infrastructure• Manage changes• Implement and maintain Linux and Solaris solutions• Participate in tool migration and modernization projects• Automate processes and improve existing procedures• Coordinate with software vendors and monitor product developments• Travel to data centers to work on equipment• Prepare documentation
Requirements
- At least 2 years of systems administration experience in similar environments
- Strong Linux expertise is essential
- Proficiency in Exchange, NetBackup, Quantum Scalar i3, VMware ESX and Horizon, EMC storage, Nagios, and Control-M
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Solaris
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
- Thoroughness, strong summarization skills, and autonomy
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good listening skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Proactive approach and technological curiosity
