Position Summary
The Civil Engineering Department in the College of Engineering, Computer Science & Construction Management seeks applicants for a pool of lecturer positions to be filled as needed during the 2026‑27 academic year. Appointments are temporary and typically made just before the start of a term.

Lecturer A/2 Full‑Time Equivalent: $5,507 – $6,677 per monthLecturer B/3 Full‑Time Equivalent: $6,221 – $13,224 per monthLecturer C/4 Full‑Time Equivalent: $6,825 – $14,523 per monthLecturer D/5 Full‑Time Equivalent: $8,593 – $15,211 per month
Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field, or a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field plus significant relevant professional or teaching experience.• Proficiency in spoken and written English.• Technical skills appropriate for courses taught and the ability to teach undergraduate civil engineering courses.
Qualifications
• Work experience in the civil engineering profession and licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE), Structural Engineer (SE), or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS).
Responsibilities
Lecturers will teach one or more undergraduate civil engineering courses, including delivering lectures, creating and grading assignments and exams, and conducting learning activities and laboratory exercises as required. Teaching assignments are based on individual qualifications and department needs.
