Lead Web3 Software Engineer

The employer is a leading Decentralized Finance (DeFi) lending autonomous algorithm protocol deployed on secure, efficient, flexible lending protocol based on the Ethereum blockchain enabling lending and borrowing services.

They are opening a Lead Web3 Software Engineer role (Remote EU) on a permanent basis.

Missions

As the Team Lead of the Infra team, you will lead a central pillar of the company’s engineering organization. Your mission is to enable product teams with resilient, scalable infrastructure, delivering APIs, data pipelines, and backend systems that meet the needs of one of the fastest-growing DeFi protocols.

You will work closely with the Head of Engineering to align infrastructure goals with business objectives while mentoring and scaling a high-performing team.

Leadership

Requirements

Experience

• Proven leadership of web3 infrastructure teams with 5+ engineers.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling backend/infrastructure systems.
• Experience in incident management with solid leadership under pressure.

Technical Skills

• Languages & Tools: Advanced expertise in TypeScript (and optionally Rust), Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Blockchain Knowledge: Deep understanding of blockchain technologies and EVM‑based systems.

Contract : Permanent

Location : Paris or Remote (can be based anywhere in Europe / EU Timezone)

Salary : 200 to 300k USD
