Job Description
We are looking for a Lead Process Engineer to join the Technip Energies Operating Center in Paris. You will lead international projects focused on the development and promotion of studies for water treatment processes in the energy transition, petrochemicals and plastic recycling, and chemical and bio‑chemical industries, as well as gas and LNG.
Responsibilities
- Organize and supervise teams of Process Engineers
- Check preliminary design calculations and deliverables (PFD, PID, PDS, narratives, …)
- Control progress and budgets
- Identify and screen optimized solutions for industrial water (cooling water, demineralized water) and potable water production from sea and surface water, as well as treatment and recycling of industrial effluents.
- Coordinate with Technology Managers, Engineering specialists, Estimating engineers, and Technology Licensors
- Perform technical evaluation of water treatment equipment suppliers during bid phase and after procurement
Qualifications
You are a graduated engineer (or equivalent) with a Chemical Engineering background and at least 10 years of professional experience in process water treatment. Experience in the oil and gas sector is welcome. You have in‑depth knowledge of the main water treatment technologies: filtration, membranes, ion exchange, chemical conditioning, physico‑chemical and biological treatments, advanced oxidation, evaporation, etc. You are autonomous, pragmatic, rigorous, inventive and reactive, and you have a strong sense of team spirit, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work in a multicultural client environment. A first experience leading teams of junior process engineers will be appreciated. Professional English is mandatory.
