Senior Piping Materials Specialist (M/F) – Nanterre (92), France

The Senior Piping Materials Specialist will ensure the preparation of all documentation required for the definition and management of piping materials by the project team and guarantee qualitative and quantitative follow‑up. This position is based in Nanterre, France.

Responsibilities

• Develop the piping material selection philosophy in accordance with Technip Energies, project, and client rules
• Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines (process, piping, civil engineering, instrumentation, inspection, etc.)
• Organize and manage a working group
• Organize and manage internal and external engineering subcontracting activities
• Prepare organizational procedures related to piping material management at the project level
• Manage the entire piping material management lifecycle
• Review and validate documentation issued by the team and subcontractors
• Ensure reporting in accordance with discipline procedures (PG, etc.)
• Participate in the implementation and monitoring of the discipline’s QHSE process during the different engineering phases (DQ & HSE Plan, HSE checklists)
• Select technologies to be implemented
• Organize and lead meetings with clients, project teams, and suppliers
• Participate in inter‑discipline coordination meetings
• Provide technical support to specialists with the assistance of experts and functional managers
• Enrich the section’s document repository by drafting engineering guides, checklists, etc.
• Produce feedback and lessons learned
• Build expertise and know‑how alongside more experienced colleagues beyond assigned responsibilities

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science
• Approximately 10 years of experience in the oil & gas industry
• Proficiency in English
• Strong command of IT and office tools
