Job Description

The Airbus Helicopters Data Strategy aims to deeply transform how we manage data within a highly complex and fragmented landscape, paving the way for the onboarding of future technologies. In this context, the Data, Analytics and AI Team has created the Centre of Excellence (CoE) Data & Analytics. The Data Governance organization within the CoE is responsible for maximizing data readiness for value creation in compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide the technical roadmap and scalable architecture needed to translate the Airbus Helicopters Data Strategy to action, ensuring the foundation is reliable and AI‑ready.
- Define and enforce a unified catalog of approved technologies (bricks) to promote standardization and prevent architectural fragmentation.
- Coordinate the D&A architecture community of practice and provide oversight of solution architecture, data architecture and data engineering to ensure consensus on definitive models and platforms.
- Ensure that the architectural roadmap is aligned with the Enterprise Architecture's corporate strategy and risk mandates.
- Guide tool selection and integration (catalogs, active metadata, data quality tooling) by defining metadata requirements before procurement and by prioritizing people/process readiness for adoption.
- Lead the design of complex relational and non‑relational data models to support both transactional and analytical topics.
- Establish enterprise‑wide standards for data lineage, metadata management, and security to ensure compliance with global regulations.
