Lab Test Means (LTM) Architect (m/f)
Job Description
Are you looking to master the complexity of aircraft systems at the leading edge of flight simulation and test means instrumentation? An exciting opportunity for a Lab Test Means (LTM) Architect (m/f) has opened within the Lab Test Means department. You will be at the heart of aircraft development, responsible for the architecture evolution, and full verification of a Long Range (LR) simulator before its entry into service.
Responsibilities
- Architect: Define and specify technically and economically viable architecture solutions within project timelines. Lead the functional verification.
- Technical coordination: Ensure technical coherence between all LTM core designs (electronics, mechanics, simulation, instrumentation).
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex hardware/software issues during V&V to maintain high simulator availability.
- Systems integration: Build Multi‑ATA knowledge by mastering the full system view, including real and simulated aircraft systems, wiring, electrical/electronics, mechanical/hydraulic or software aspects.
- Continuous improvement: Proactively enhance internal workflows and ways of working.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of aircraft system architecture.
- Experience in test means design (hardware or software) or architecture.
- Experience in troubleshooting or testing.
- Experience in coordination and project management.
- Customer focused and good communication skills.
- Strong team spirit and curiosity.
- Adaptability and pro‑activity.
- Capacity to take a step back.
- Good level of English; French is mandatory.
