IT solution architect for Flight Tests means (f/m)

Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Software Architect (m/f) in the Governance & Software Architecture for Test Means Development department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a Digital team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the software suites that enable the Airbus Commercial Aircraft testing community to conduct ground and flight tests for all our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future IT products & services and validate product designs.
• Make the link between functional architects and technology specialists.
• Lead the solution layer of our architectures.
• Participate in all phases of the application development life cycle, including prototyping, development, testing, implementation, and support.
• Contribute to aligning architecture strategy with the organization’s business goals and long‑term strategic planning.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in software architecture.
• Previous experience in embedded systems.
• Proficiency in modeling languages and standards, including UML, SysML, and ArchiMate.
• Strong foundation in data modeling, with practical knowledge of Apache Kafka and the Sparx ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java.
• Native French language and advanced English level.
• Ability and sincere interest in teamwork.
• Good communication and relational skills.
• Autonomy and adaptability to integrate innovative and emerging technologies.
