About The Team

Fanatics Collectibles is a new company operating at the intersection of collectibles, culture, and technology. Backed by world‑class investors, operators, and sports & entertainment partners, we are building the global leader in next‑generation collectibles. As part of the broader Fanatics ecosystem, we leverage a digital sports platform that spans over 900 sports properties and engages more than 81 million fans. Together, we are reimagining every part of the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators.

The Key Account Manager plays a key role in driving sales growth and profitability across the designated accounts on the Mass Market and Hobby Retail channel in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. This full‑time role, based in our designated office five days per week, requires strong commercial acumen, deep understanding of the local retail landscape, and the ability to navigate both traditional and modern trade environments. Collaboration with internal teams and external distributors will be key to delivering execution excellence and achieving category leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales performance across the designated accounts in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands ensuring delivery against sales, margin, and profitability targets.
  • Develop account‑specific strategies that align with brand and category objectives across key partners and independents.
  • Lead the onboarding of new distributors and hobby and specialist accounts, identifying opportunities that drive incremental growth and brand visibility.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand category trends, competitor performance, and consumer behaviour, informing account planning and channel strategy.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with retailers and distributors, acting as the primary commercial contact for negotiations, promotions, and planning of the designated accounts.
  • Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Brand, Planning, Logistics, Finance) to deliver seamless customer execution and exceptional service.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior management.
  • Implement joint business plans and promotional activations, maximising retail impact and consumer engagement.
  • Represent the company and its brands at trade fairs, hobby events, and industry meetings in France and across Europe when required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Key Account Management or Sales, ideally within Hobby, Toy, Game, or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven success in managing major French, Belgian and Dutch retail accounts and delivering consistent sales growth.
  • Strong knowledge of the French, Belgian and Dutch retail environment, distribution models, and buyer negotiation processes.
  • Experience with collectibles, trading cards, or hobby channels is highly desirable.
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen, with solid understanding of pricing, margins, and forecasting.
  • Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken). Dutch is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing at senior levels.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities autonomously.
  • Adaptable and resilient, with a hands‑on approach and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
