We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven European Sales Manager to lead and expand the French market for Mario Badescu. Based in Paris, this role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong retail and distribution partnerships, and driving brand growth across France.

This is a hybrid role combining strategic planning, field sales, and key account management.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the French market aligned with European objectives
  • Drive revenue growth, market penetration, and brand visibility
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform decisions

Key Account Management

  • Manage and grow relationships with key retail partners (e.g., department stores, pharmacies, specialty beauty retailers, and e-commerce platforms)
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and promotional plans
  • Ensure strong in-store execution and brand representation

Business Development

  • Identify and secure new distribution channels and retail opportunities
  • Expand presence across premium and selective distribution networks
  • Collaborate with distributors where applicable

Brand & Marketing Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing teams to localize campaigns for the French market
  • Support product launches, in-store activations, and promotional events
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Own sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking for France
  • Monitor KPIs and provide regular reporting to European leadership
  • Optimize inventory levels in collaboration with supply chain teams

Field Leadership

  • Conduct regular store visits and client meetings across France
  • Train retail staff and partners on product knowledge and brand positioning
  • Represent the brand at industry events and trade shows

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of sales experience in the beauty, skincare, or cosmetics industry
  • Strong network within the French retail landscape (Sephora, pharmacies, department stores, etc.)
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing key accounts
  • Experience working with international or premium beauty brands preferred
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly analytical with strong business acumen

Languages

  • Fluent in French and English (required)

Working Style

  • Based in or near Paris
  • Comfortable with a hybrid work model and frequent travel within France
