Key Account Manager
Overview
You are responsible for developing sales of our product ranges with major industrial key accounts through field-based activities. You will achieve quantitative and specific targets: revenue, margin, number and types of clients. Reporting to the Director of Key Account Managers, your responsibilities will include: driving commercial development across a defined territory with a structured, results-oriented approach for the following departments: 67, 68, 57, 54, 88 and 55. Acting as the commercial and technical point of contact for your clients and prospects, proposing solutions tailored to their challenges. Leading contractual negotiations with purchasing departments and executive management of key accounts. Providing expert advice throughout the sales process and working closely with the company's various departments: inside sales, purchasing, quality, logistics. Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction with a focus on long-term retention. Analyzing sales trends, identifying levers to adjust forecasts and meet targets set with Sales Management. Producing regular, structured reports on your commercial activity and conducting strategic market monitoring.
Requirements
- You hold a qualification in Sales/Business (minimum Bac +2 equivalent) or can demonstrate significant sales experience.
- You have a genuine commercial development mindset and are able to identify opportunities.
- You optimize performance through KPI monitoring, have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of numbers.
- Organized and structured, you can effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects in parallel and meet strategic deadlines.
- You communicate by adapting your message to varied interlocutors and know how to build lasting relationships by positioning yourself as a reliable, trusted partner.
- You must be proficient in Excel (use of formulas, lookup functions, data analysis and processing, etc.).
- SAP proficiency is essential.
- A good level of English or German is an asset.
