Key Account Manager
Role
This is a high-stakes, “full-cycle” strategic role. You won’t just be maintaining relationships; you will be the architect of growth for Key Accounts .
Your mission is divided into two strategic pillars: Retention & Growth: you will manage existing key clients identifying opportunities to deploy Semji across new international subsidiaries, launching new countries, and upgrading licensing plans to match their digital transformation. Strategic Conquest: you will lead the hunt for high-value prospects, navigating long-cycle sales (6-12 months) to convert them into long-term partners.
Core Missions
1. Strategic Conquest
Identify and qualify high-potential opportunities (France and international).
Manage the full sales cycle for complex accounts.
Lead negotiations with high-level stakeholders (Marketing, Digital, SEO, and C-Level).
Drive responses to tenders, RFIs (Request for Information), and RFPs (Request for Proposal), and build tailored value propositions.
Collaborate closely with AE (Account Executive), AM (Account Manager), CSM (Customer Success), Professional Services and Product teams.
2. Retention and Growth
Build long-term account plans with a strategic vision.
Ensure maximum C-Level satisfaction by driving platform adoption and leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) focused on SEO, GEO, and ROI results.
Identify levers for upsell and expansion across multiple countries or teams.
Monitor client performance KPIs (traffic, conversions, ROI) to build a relationship of trust.
3. Strategic Contribution
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the sales pitch and the “Key Accounts” Go-To-Market strategy.
Share market and field insights with the Product and Marketing teams.
Represent the company at trade shows, events, and webinars to engage with strategic accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Complex Selling & Multi-Thread Engagement: Navigate deep into organizations. You will lead conversations simultaneously with Head of SEOs, SEO Writers, CMOs, C-Level executives, as well as Procurement and Legal departments.
Global Contract Engineering: Create, negotiate, and close worldwide offers and global master service agreements (MSA) that span multiple regions and business units.
Strategic Hunting & Nurturing: Drive the RFP process from start to finish. You will lead Proof of Concepts (PoC) to demonstrate value and turn “cold” prospects into “hot” accounts.
Public Speaking & Leadership: Represent Semji at high-level industry events, lead steering committees, and “handle the room” during complex pitches or client workshops.
Orchestration: Act as the conductor between internal teams (Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services) to ensure our platform delivers on the promises made during the sales cycle.
The Strategist: You have a proven track record of managing CAC 40 or Global 500 accounts. You understand the nuances of selling B2B SaaS in complex environments.
The Hybrid Profile: You are comfortable “hunting” a new logo and you are “farming” and growing an existing one.
Expert Communicator: You possess a high “EQ” and “IQ,” allowing you to pivot your language from technical SEO discussions to high-level ROI business cases for the C‑Suite.
Industry Savvy: You have a strong interest (or experience) in SEO, Generative AI, and the evolving landscape of AI Agents.
International Mindset: You are based in the French market but possess the English fluency required to lead worldwide expansions and negotiate with international stakeholders.
