The Role
Reporting into senior commercial leadership, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key customers, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share across a defined portfolio.
You will take a consultative approach, building a deep understanding of customer needs while delivering tailored solutions that support their operational and clinical objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue within major accounts
- Build long-term partnerships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Identify customer requirements across performance, service, and training needs
- Lead and coordinate tender processes and large-scale commercial opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through to close
- Maintain an accurate and structured sales pipeline and forecasting process
- Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals and commercial offers
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work alongside technical, marketing, and service teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Support knowledge sharing and provide market feedback to internal stakeholders
- Engage with key opinion leaders and industry networks
- Deliver a high level of customer service, including training and post-sales support
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution and follow-up
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and meetings
About You
- Proven experience in key account management or complex B2B sales
- Background in Pathology, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and FISH
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in managing large or strategic accounts
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and navigate complex purchasing environments
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a matrix organisation
