This position is seeking to improve the quality and reliability of IT systems. This role is mainly centered on the operation and optimization of J2EE application servers

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operational condition of J2EE hosting platforms (Supervision, Availability, Resilience – BCP & DRP)
• Deploy and operate JEE application servers (JBOSS, Tomcat, FatJar) and web servers (Apache)
• Integrate, test, and validate operating procedures
• Implement and execute the Patch Management policy and handle obsolescence of Web & Application Servers
• Perform JVM sizing and capacity planning
• Provide support for hosted applications: performance analysis, error diagnosis, and tuning
• Assist in project implementation and contribute to the definition of standard JEE technical components
• Operational maintenance of J2EE platforms
• Deployment and operation of JBOSS, Tomcat, FatJar, Apache
• Validated and documented operating procedures
• Executed patching and obsolescence plans
• Automated scripts and workflows
• Resource sizing and JVM planning reports
• Performance and tuning support documentation

Mandatory Skills

• Extensive experience in production environments with JBOSS, Tomcat, FatJar
• Apache
• SHELL scripting, Ansible, Jenkins
• Patch Management and obsolescence handling
• Operating procedure validation
• Supervision and log analysis (must be able to read and interpret logs)
