Job Description

The CEE internship will be a 6‑month role based in Paris, from January 2027. You will join an international core team of bankers working on cross‑product and cross‑sector mandates across Central and Eastern Europe, CIS, Greece and Turkey.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentation materials for M&A, ECM, DCM and sovereign advisory for clients across major industries.
• Perform company valuations using discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, comparable companies or transactions techniques.
• Support ongoing transaction execution.
• Collaborate with Lazard bankers worldwide to support clients.

Qualifications

• Strong previous experience in finance or consulting (off‑cycle/summer internships acceptable).
• Excellent academic credentials.
• International background with knowledge of the CEE region.
• Fluency in a CEE regional language (Polish, Czech, Romanian, Serbian, Croatian, Russian, etc.). Non‑CEE language fluency is disqualified.
• Non‑EU students must manage all related administrative and work‑permit tasks independently.
