IT Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition and evolution of infrastructure architectures
• Participate in the technical scoping of business projects and major technical initiatives
• Conduct architectural studies, impact analyses and provide recommendations necessary for designing complex technical solutions
• Provide cross-functional expertise and contribute to key technical decisions
• Ensure the coherence, security, performance and operability of proposed architectures
• Produce and maintain the required technical documentation

Requirements

• Master's degree in IT (Bac+5 or equivalent)
• 5 years' experience in technical architecture
• Over 10 years' experience within a technical IT department as a systems engineer
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure architecture principles and the design of technical solutions
• Proficiency in study methods, impact analysis and architecting recommendations
• Good knowledge of Microsoft environments: Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory
• Good knowledge of Linux systems, particularly Red Hat
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and tools, notably VMware; familiarity with Nutanix is appreciated
• Good knowledge of storage, backup and business continuity solutions
• Good knowledge of database environments, notably Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL
