Overview
Airbus Helicopters is looking for an IT Product Owner (f/m) to join our Digital Directorate, integrating the E2E Develop Domain, based in Marignane, France. You will be part of a team developing and maintaining applications to support the business in the production of the Aircraft documentation. As part of the Techdata & Manufacturing Solutions PSL, you will be involved in defining, monitoring and improving the best solution for our business, aiming at ensuring the achievement of projects, new functionalities and very high improvements for the business in terms of production.
The Techdata & Manufacturing Solutions PSL is a dynamic environment that embraces devops and agile practices. It is responsible for more than 100 applications, with a diverse technical stack and a focus on zero downtime, performance, reliability, and accelerated deliveries.
Your working environment: Marignane is a dynamic city in the southeast of France, near Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, with access to beaches and a rich cultural scene.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the TechData New Generation Portfolio within the SAFe framework as Product Owner for TECHDATA applications.
- Manage an Agile team, define solutions aligned with business requirements, plan sprints, conduct Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and System Demos, and monitor commitments.
- Provide and share the incoming vision for your application portfolio.
- Identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation plans.
- Design scalable solutions in line with IT architecture standards.
- Demonstrate leadership to align all stakeholders.
- Ensure solution operability, security, performance and robustness.
- Contribute to deliveries including requirements definition, architecture documentation, and information system modeling.
- Oversee both technical and functional aspects within budget constraints.
- Review and approve development proposals and new functionalities.
- Prioritize user stories during planning and manage associated risks.
- Collaborate with the development team and validate user stories.
- Manage subcontractors and address daily activities and challenges.
- Engage in technical discussions with new business stakeholders.
- Create, modify, and present technical reports and communicate issues related to application functionality and performance.
Qualifications
- Master degree level in IT or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in Business IT projects.
- IT expertise across Java, .NET, JavaScript.
- Database landscape: Oracle, MS SQL Server, Postgres, CouchDB, MariaDB.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to drive improvement and innovation.
- Experience in Agile product development.
- Knowledge of Airbus context is appreciated.
- Familiarity with design and manufacturing domains (DMU, Manufacturing Engineering, Shop floor) is appreciated.
- Solid project management skills, especially in uncertain environments or change management with multiple stakeholders.
- Open-minded for collaborative ways of working in a transnational business environment.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
