IT Office Support
About the Role
We are looking for an IT Office Support for our Monks Paris office. You will be responsible for ensuring that all your fellow Monks can keep on creating their awesome work. You will do this as part of a global team that specialises in helping our colleagues get back up and running in no time. Additionally, our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. This is a junior role with requirements for on-site work with 5 days in the office.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for installing and configuring all computer hardware, software, networking systems (assisting), and A/V equipment in our Paris office, repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
- Handling incoming issues and requests from our Paris office, you’ll provide first-line support for troubleshooting and set up new colleagues in a flash.
- Taking care of the office from an IT perspective. This includes keeping our meeting rooms operational and in tip-top shape, supporting presentations/events, general tidiness of the office (we don’t want old hardware and cables lying around), and last but not least, workplace management. This consists of doing regular checks to keep them complete and functional, as well as assisting with moves around the office where needed.
- Even though your main focus is the local office, you will also support your colleagues in the global IT support team to swiftly answer any questions that enter our ticketing system, or simply through Slack.
- You contribute to making sure that your colleagues across the globe can collaborate to craft cool stuff for the leading agencies and brands, assisting our network engineers by providing hands-on support when needed.
About You – The Essentials
- For this role, we’re looking for what they used to call a whizkid: someone who is keen and eager to look after our IT in Paris. This requires being on-site every day.
- You’re fluent in English and IT lingo.
- As an all-round troubleshooter, you can support both Windows and Mac.
- You can provide application support for all kinds of software packages and are all too familiar with plugins, patches, and drivers.
- As a true IT support employee, you have the inexplicable capacity to fix problems simply by looking at the allegedly malfunctioning device.
- Next to the Magic Restart, you know how to solve more complex oddities in the workings and settings of networks and applications.
- Setting up new workstations is hardly work for you: you always think ahead so that new Monks have everything they need to get started, even if it wasn’t part of the to-do list.
- A considerable level of independence is required for this job as you’ll mostly be working on your own while representing our global IT team.
- Constantly exploring new IT territories, you’re so eager to learn on the job, we don’t even have to tell you.
- Working experience with Google Workspace, Jamf, Intune, CrowdStrike, Office 365, Slack, and Freshservice. As well as other asset management tools.
- A basic understanding of networking would also be beneficial.
- OneLogin experience or other SSO solutions.
- Proficiency in French and English.
