Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer to support data center operations, network infrastructure, and enterprise IT systems across the West Africa region. This role is critical for ensuring high-quality IT services, security, and reliability in a fast-paced telecom environment.

Detailed Job Description

As an IT Engineer, you will manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including data centers, LANs, access control systems, and conferencing solutions. You will also provide technical support for major conferences, oversee printing systems, and ensure compliance with internal processes. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Huawei IT solutions and a strong commitment to delivering high‑quality work while adapting to evolving technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including data centers and LAN networks.
• Support access control, printing systems, and conferencing solutions.
• Provide technical support for major conferences and events.
• Ensure compliance with internal delivery processes and IT standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in one or more areas: data centers, LANs, access control, printing systems, conferencing systems.
• Strong commitment to work quality and continuous learning.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Huawei IT infrastructure construction and maintenance.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑Converged Infrastructure).
• Familiarity with storage solutions (Huawei Storage, Dell EMC, NetApp).
• Certifications such as HCIP, HCIE, or EMC Certified.
• Hands‑on experience with IT project delivery in telecom environments.
