Associate, Investments & Portfolio Management

A leading investment platform is looking to hire an Associate to join its dynamic investment team, supporting both portfolio management and new investment activities across a diversified asset base.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates coming from investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or strategy consulting backgrounds who are looking to step into a broad investment role with high visibility and hands‑on exposure across transactions, portfolio optimisation, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support evaluation and execution of investment opportunities across multiple sectors
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment materials
• Conduct industry, market, and company research to support investment decisions
• Assist with commercial and financial due diligence processes alongside external advisors
• Work closely with portfolio companies on operational and performance improvement initiatives
• Support investment committee materials, strategic reviews, and management presentations
• Engage with senior stakeholders including executives, advisors, and external partners

Candidate Profile

• 3–6 years’ experience within investment banking, private equity, transaction services, corporate finance, or strategy consulting
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
• Experience working on M&A transactions, strategic projects, or performance improvement initiatives
• Comfortable handling large datasets and translating insights into commercial recommendations
• CFA and/or MBA is advantageous
