Investment Associate

Responsibilities

• Underwrite investment opportunities
• Prepare marketing materials for internal and external use
• Assist in and drive due diligence workstreams
• Perform complex financial analyses and valuations
• Model the impacts of returns on the business and within the portfolio
• Support investment and finance management teams on other corporate development transactions as required, including financings, acquisitions, business plan forecasting, and strategic planning
• Assist with preparation of board materials
• Maintain the business plan model

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering, management, finance, or a related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in investment, M&A and/or the banking industry with exposure to data center, real estate, and/or infrastructure sectors
• Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills, ideally with a real estate and/or corporate focus
• Project planning and self-management skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Fluency in English and French; another European language is an asset
• Proficiency with the full Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
