Interpersonal Behavior Annotation Specialist

Help describe the subtleties of human communication in a form that can be evaluated consistently. You will identify cues in conversations and performances, explain their possible significance and assess whether an AI response interprets the interaction appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Review text, audio and video for changes in tone, speech pattern, gesture and body language.
• Produce detailed annotations that distinguish the observed cue from your interpretation.
• Create realistic scenarios that draw on your professional understanding of interpersonal behavior.
• Review generated responses for behavioral accuracy, nuance and suitability to the situation.
• Improve annotation guidance by documenting difficult cases and explaining recurring interpretation problems.
• Share practical examples and review notes that help other contributors apply the same standard.

Relevant background

• Preferred backgrounds include behavioral therapy, counseling, theater or acting coaching, and other work involving careful observation of people.
• Experience developing training materials or helping others improve a skill is useful.

You should be able to notice small shifts in expression, communicate clearly in writing and discussion, and maintain consistent quality while working independently. The role values contextual judgment and a willingness to explain uncertainty. Prior AI experience is not required. The assignment concerns evaluation and annotation, rather than providing diagnosis or treatment.

Location, outputs and pay

This remote opportunity is available to contributors in North America, Latin America, the United Kingdom, Europe and Oceania. Part-time or full-time availability can be discussed.

Deliverables include annotated examples, scenario-based training materials, model-response reviews and practical guideline improvements. Pay is $25 $75/hr in USD. IXO will agree the specific workload, schedule and review criteria before work begins. Use the materials and scenarios authorized for the assignment.
