Internship Area Manager

• Analyze your zone's pricing policy and propose recommendations in coordination with the Market Manager and Line Manager
• Monitor the line's commercial performance and analyze variances against budget to propose corrective actions
• Conduct market studies, including market share analysis, use of industry databases (Dataliner, CTS), and competitive and geopolitical intelligence
• Monitor freight levels, capacity, competition and market trends across your zone
• Produce regular performance reporting for line management
• Help prepare materials for commercial calls and steering committees
• Take part in processing quotation requests and liaising with CMA CGM agents worldwide as needed
• Collaborate with network teams, agents and cross-functional stakeholders, including Customer Service, Reefer and OOG

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree (Bac+4/5) from a business school, or in Supply Chain, Maritime Transport, Logistics or Data/Business Analysis
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Proficient in Excel: pivot tables, advanced formulas, databases
• Strong analytical skills and synthesis mindset
• Curiosity for international trade, geopolitical dynamics and global markets
• Commercial drive and enjoyment of negotiation
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international logistics
• Second language: Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese
• International experience or multicultural background
